Activision might release a free-to-play Call of Duty battle royale mode next year

Get ready for 100-player Modern Warfare.

Activision is said to be working on a free-to-play battle royale mode for the upcoming reboot of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

This isn’t the first time Activision has dabbled in the battle royale genre, as 2018’s Black Ops 4 also had a 100-man battle royale mode called Blackout.

The news comes from YouTuber LongSensationYT who has a good track record with Call of Duty leaks.

So apparently Battle Royale in#ModernWarfarewill be a free mode to release in early 2020. It will be downloadable as a separate game, but also will still be connected to the core game. If this is true then it’s a very good move by Activision.
