Apex Legends to get 10 new characters, data mine reveals
The data miners have struck gold with icons, concept art, and names for eight new characters.
A data mine has revealed that there will be 10 new characters to add to Apex Legends’ roster of Legends — including the previously leaked Octane and Wattson.
Data miners FrozenFroh andShrugtalseem to have struck gold while data mining the new smash-hit battle royale game, as they uncovered icons, concept art, and names for eight new characters. FrozenFroh later posted the findings on theApex Legends subredditand created a mock-up of the game’s character selection screen featuring the new legends.

While the abilities of the new characters — and whether they will end up actually appearing in Apex Legends — are still unclear, the reveal is not something that can be easily dismissed. The data miners pointed out that one of the uncovered characters, Talchum, has been featured in concept art of the game.

We may see one of the characters from the reveal, Octane, go live very soon. Octane has long been rumored to arrive with Apex Legends’ first battle pass — which could be released as soon as today, March 12.
