Bandai Namco tweaks the Tekken World Tour schedule in response to COVID-19
The Mix-up and NorCal Regionals are the next set of events that will change for the tour.
After the first postponement of the Tokyo Tekken Masters, Bandai Namco has adjusted two other upcoming TWT stops, NorCal Regionals in California and The Mix-Up in France, to prioritize the health and safety of its tournament-goers.
Bandai noted that the NorCal Regionals (June 15, 2025) will still proceed as a tournament, but it will not have Bandai Namco Entertainment’s involvement and will not be seen as a TWT qualifying round. As for The Mix-Up (Jun 24, 2025), the French event will be rescheduled to a later date. These two updates were revealed in ablog post by the developer.

With such changes, The TWT may look into changing some details such as TWT Finals requirements and point tallies to make it fairer for the affected players.
“We are actively monitoring and evaluating COVID-19 developments and will strive to provide updates on new officially-sanctioned tournament dates, finals qualification criteria, and points tallies as soon as possible,” said Bandai.
The next event in the Tekken World Tour will now be the Tekken Round Pro 9 in Colombia on April 25.
