BOOM Esports stun Fnatic on the back of Mikoto’s stellar play

Mikoto outplayed Moon all game.

Up and coming Indonesian team, BOOM Esports, upset Southeast Asian giants, Fnatic, on day one of the ESL One Los Angeles 2020 Online League.

With the series tied 1-1, BOOM’s mid lane player, Rafli Fathur “Mikoto” Rahman, took control of the deciding game with some amazing Ember Spirit play, totally outplaying his counterpart, Kam Boon “Moon” Seng’s Monkey King.

First, Mikoto used his Slight of Fist ability forcing Moon to commit to his Boundless Strike attack, which Mikoto then dodged with a stylish Fire Remnant.

BOOM then extended their lead by pulling off a clutch Supernova ultimate with Brizio Adi “Hyde” Putra’s Phoenix. Mikoto’s Ember Spirit and Randy “Dreamocel” Sapoetra’s Anti-Mage then jumped and eliminated the remaining Fnatic heroes.

BOOM Esports finished the series with Mikoto surviving a stun-combo from Djardel “Dj” Mampusti’s Earthshaker while the rest of his teammates destroyed Fnatic’s lineup.
