Cloud9 CS:GO pros floppy and Xeppaa switch to Valorant
Cloud9 just upgraded its roster.
It’s been a big week for Cloud9 thus far. Following the departures of Daniel “vice” Kim and Sykler “Relyks” Weaver, the organization has decided to move Ricky “floppy” Kemery and Erick “Xeppaa” Bach from its Counter-Strike division into its Valorant lineup.

Despite being relatively young players, floppy and Xeppaa are talented professionals who will be using the experience they have accumulated from CS:GO to compete against the best in Valorant. As a result, Cloud9 Blue is once again currently running a 6-man roster which will allow for more flexibility in future games.

Before joining Cloud9, floppy represented quite a few teams in the past, most notably Team Singularity. Xeppaa, on the other hand, traces his beginnings back to 2017, having gotten his big break with Chaos Esports Club and winning tournaments like DreamHack Masters Winter 2020: North America.
Cloud9’s Valorant roster has been in flux since TenZ was moved from its active roster. With these changes, however, the squad seems to be on an upward trajectory. The reworked team has earned wins over the likes of Gen.G Esports and Immortals during VCT Stage 2 Challengers 1.
