Cloud9 Fudge returns to top lane, Zven may switch to support says report

Cloud9 is shaking up their roster before the start of the 2022 Summer Split. They will move mid lanerIbrahim “Fudge” Allamiback to the top lane, according to a report byUpcomer.
Prior to LCS Spring 2022, the 19-year-old was a top laner, and role swapped to mid lane to make way forPark “Summit” Woo-tae.
The North American organization is also considering new players in mid lane and support for its LCS roster.
Both Summit and support Kim “Winsome” Dong-keon are expected to leave Cloud9. The report did not state their next destinations.

With Fudge moving back to his main role, there is now an open slot in mid lane, and Cloud9 may bring in an import for the role.
One option Cloud9 considered was their former player, Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer, but the Belgian chose to signwith MAD Lionsinstead.
Other mid lane options, according to the Upcomer report, include academy mid laner Jouhan “Copy” Pathmanathan and Adam “Random” Grepl, who is playing with BISONS ECLUB in the Spanish LVP.
The report also mentions that academy bot laner Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen mightrole swap to support. A Redditorfoundthat the Dane has beenplaying support in EU West solo queuerecently during his mid-season break.
After a relatively strong start to theLCS Spring 2022 season, head coachNick “LS” De Cesare was abruptly releasedbefore a game in Week 3.
Cloud9 finished fourth in theplayoffs, losing 0-3 to Evil Geniuses in the lower bracket.
