Destiny 2’s ongoing Vex storyline concludes with Episode Echoes Act 3. Echoes was first released alongside The Final Shape expansion, which also kicked off the new era of seasonal storytelling in Destiny 2.

When is the Destiny 2 Episode Echoes Act 3 release date?

Destiny 2 Episode Echoes Act 3 will begin onAugust 27at the weekly reset time of10 a.m. PDT/1 p.m. EDT. It will conclude on October 8, followed immediately by Episode Revenant, the second of the three currently planned Episodes in Destiny 2 year 7.
Sadly, as of this writing, Bungie have not revealed anything about Episode Echoes Act 3 except its start and end date.
However, ifEchoes Act 2is anything to go by, you could expect to unlock new artifact mods, farm new weapons, run new three-player activities, and unlock the remaining battle pass rewards from tier 151 to 200.
Episode Echoes Act 2 may have been light in story content, but it did add some powerful new weapons like the one-of-a-kind solar rocket sidearm, Aberrant Action.
This andthe Callhave introduced a new explosive sidearm meta to the game, and both their god rolls are worth crafting or farming.
As for Act 3, Bungie should reveal more via a livestream closer to its launch, though don’t expect a cheerful info drop, especially given the company’s state after the latest restructuring.
