Dewa United Esports will be joining MPL ID Season 12, the organization announced during a press conference.
This addition marks a significant milestone for the league as it expands its official roster to nine, the first time this has happened since the adoption of the franchise-based league system in Season 4.

Dewa United Esports is a multi-game esports organization based in Indonesia and the esports division of Indonesian Liga 1’s Dewa United Football Club.
While they may be new to the MPL ID stage, Dewa United has been actively involved in the Mobile Legends esports scene for the past couple of years with its MLBB development league team, formed two years ago.
Their most notable achievement came in MDL ID Season 7, where they secured a commendable second-place finish.
It is yet to be announced whether Dewa United will retain its MDL roster for Season 12 or introduce entirely new players.

MPL ID Season 12 is scheduled to commence on July 13, featuring a prize pool of US$336,500, which is an increase of US$36,500 compared to the previous season.
