Dignitas releases star top laner Huni
Huni has been with the team since November 2018.
Despite being one of the biggestLeague of LegendsChampionship Series contracts in 2019, Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon is no longerlistedas an official team member of Dignitas. This news comes as a follow-up to Dignitas’ decision to put the star Korean top-laner on the market just three weeks earlier.

Huni reportedly signed a two-year, US$2.3M deal with DIG in November last year. While reports came out that Huni was guaranteed his pay grade whether or not the contract pushed through after the Spring Split, Dignitas CEO Michael Prindiville went on Twitter to say that the deal was never guaranteed.

Huni has been a member of Dignitas (previously known as Clutch Gaming) since November 2018.
Huni and Dignitas faced an early check-out at seventh place in the 2020 LCS Spring Split, losing a tie-breaker with Golden Guardians for the sixth spot in the Spring Playoffs bracket.
While Dignitas and Huni have not made any statements about the situation, we’ll likely see the Korean player with another LCS team bythe 2020 LCS Summer Split, which will begin on June 13.
