The 2021/2022 Dota Pro Circuit’s first Tour isn’t over yet. The DPC SA Winter Regional Finals, created toreplace the canceled Winter Major, will feature the top four teams from South America in a battle for US$100,000 and 380 Dota Pro Circuit points.
Thunder Awaken’s new roster went undefeated, losing just one game to NoPing e-sports later into the season. SA’s powerhouses Infamous and beastcoast, along with newcomers APU King of Kings, fought their way into the Finals after tense final matches and tiebreakers.

Valve shocked the Dota 2 world with a sudden announcement that theDota Pro Circuit 2021/2022 Winter Major was canceleddue to “the discovery and spread of new strains of COVID-19 and the resulting increase of travel restrictions.”

Format of the tournament
All four teams participating will play best-of-three matches in a double-elimination bracket, except for the grand final, which will be a best-of-five series.
