DRX adds Foxy9 to its Valorant roster
They’re ready.
DRX has announced the signing ofJung “Foxy9” Jae-sung, bolstering their roster with a sixth man ahead of the VCT 2023 season.
According toVCT roster rules, partnered teams will need to field a minimum of six players.
The new addition comes just a day before the October 15 roster lock, where teams will need to submit a preliminary roster to Riot Games.
The South Korean youngster played for HolyMolly in his most recent matches. However, he is best known for his time on Japanese team REIGNITE, competing in VCT Japan Stage 1 and 2.

The 17-year-old will join DRX in the Pacific league next year, part of a roster that has established itself as the best in Korea by a mile.
The organization will be looking to extend that dominance against other Asia-Pacific teams, including other regional giants likeZeta Divisionand Paper Rex. They have also been among themost consistent teams internationallyall year, sailing out of the group stages and making deep playoffs runs.

Foxy9 has played the most games on Jett throughout his career, only occasionally flexing onto agents like Sage, Breach, and Chamber in recent months.
DRX Valorant roster
The South Korean powerhouse is the only Pacific league organization other thanRRQto have announced a new player signing.
It is not immediately clear how the team will utilize its sixth man. The squad already has a Jett main in BuZz, the team’s main duelist at Valorant Champions 2022, while Rb has also shown the ability to flex onto the agent as well.
The squad will make its VCT 2023 debut in the30-team kickoff tournament in São Paulo, Brazil.
