EA has suspended all esports events including Apex Legends and FIFA 20 Global Series

EA has announced a suspension of all of its offline esports events as a preventive measure against the pandemic COVID-19 coronavirus.
The suspension includes:
Third-party EA-licensed events have also been put on hold until the situation improves.
Scheduled events and broadcasts online will continue despite the suspension.
“As we continue to monitor the situation around the coronavirus and receive updated guidance from health officials around the world, we will use this time to determine next steps for moving forward with all of EA’s Competitive Gaming live events and online broadcasts,” according to anofficial statementreleased by EA.
