Evil Geniuses add YaBoiDre, jawgemo, and Reformed to Valorant roster for VCT 2022

Evil has a new look.

Evil Geniuseshas finally completed its Valorant roster, just in time for the start of the firstVCT 2022 NA Stage 1 Challengersopen qualifier.

The North American esports organization announced the signing of Diondre “YaBoiDre” Bond, Alexander “jawgemo” Mor, and Jeffrey “Reformed” Lu, replacing the outgoing trio of Brandon “BRANTED” Ballard, Daniel “roca” Gustaferri, and Nolan “Temperature” Pepper.

Evil Geniuses first entered Valorant with amixed-gender rosterat the start of 2021, and the squad has experimented with acouple of different iterationsas it worked to break into the top-tier of North American Valorant.

YaBoiDre first made a name for himself on Luminosity Gaming, putting in severalnotable performancesatVCT NA Challengers events. He was widely regarded as one of the best players on the Luminosity squad, before asking to be placed on the inactive roster to explore new offers.

While he has considerable experience playingRazeandJettfor Luminosity, it looks like he’ll be stepping into the initiator role asSovaon Evil Geniuses.

Evil Geniuses adds YaBoiDre, Reformed, and jawgemo to Valorant roster

Jawgemo and Reformed are less well-known names. Jawgemo joins fromT1 Academy, where he mostly played Jett, while Reformed has been playing with Evil Geniuses on a trial basis since last October as the main sentinel player.

Evil Geniuses’ new Valorant roster has already made its debut at theVCT 2022 NA Stage 1 Challengersopen qualifiers, picking up wins over Valkyrie and an unsigned roster called Asian Ravioli.
