During theMobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Invitational 2023(MPLI 2023), Xorn shared insights into what distinguishes an ordinary roamer from an expert one.
According to him, proficiency in shot calling and map reading is crucial, and emphasized that map reading takes precedence.
“Reading the map is important because we always need to be in the right place at the right time,” he said. “If we’re not positioned correctly, the team may struggle with rotations.”
He further pointed out that roamers specializing in tank heroes will gain the most from honing this skill.
Their primary role is to orchestrate team fights. In doing so, they should always be aware of their positioning — which is a challenge because it’s easy to lose track of missing enemies on the map. As a result, players may be caught by surprise counter-attacks from the opposing team.
“The current meta is kind of an advantage for me because I like to play tank heroes,” he added.
