Fahkumram has been nerfed to oblivion in Tekken’s latest patch
The Muay Thai marauder has been tamed.
Along with the release of new character Lidia Sobieska, Bandai Namco has released Tekken 7 patch 4.10, putting in balance adjustments to a few overpowered characters.
Fahkumram took the biggest hit in the patch, getting nerfs to twelve separate moves. The developers gave players a lengthy explanation for each change, generally commenting on Fahkumram’s over-the-top damage output and advantage when using such moves.
A substantial nerf to Fahkumram is his 1,1 string. Being the Muay Thai fighter’s spamming poke, Bandai has decreased its damage from 20 to 16 and removed its counter-hit properties, making it obsolete as a combo-starter.
His 10-frame combo move (1,4) had an unbelievable +16 frame advantage on-hit, guaranteeing a launch on the opponent. Deemed to be an outstanding move compared to the rest of the cast, the developers have dropped the frame advantage to +3.
Another nerfed move to note for anyone going against Fahkuram is his parrying cartwheel (d3+4). As an attack that parried high/mid punches and guaranteed a juggle, the patch decreased its damage from 20 to 15 and increased the frame advantage when guarded from -13 to -17 frames, making it launch-punishable for opponents.
