This new partnership between Mercedes Benz and T1 was announced just before theMid-Season Invitational (MSI 2023), where he and his team will compete against other top LoL teams from around the world.
Mercedes Benz signs deal with T1, gifts star player Faker a new car
The German automaker has gifted Faker with a top-of-the-line Mercedes-AMG EQE 53MATIC+ according to theKorean esports website Fomos.
This luxury electric sedan boasts a high-powered electric motor and features the MBUX Hyperscreen, an impressive dashboard that includes three separate screens — the largest display ever in a production Mercedes Benz.
The car has a driving range of up to 250-310 miles on a single charge, in addition to a luxurious interior and advanced safety features. The starting price of the Mercedes-AMG EQE 53MATIC+ is US$120,000, a high-end ride for the T1 star player.
With the organization’s new partnership with Mercedes, fans can expect to see the brand’s iconic three-pointed star logo on T1’s jerseys, social media posts, and more. This deal is set to continue for two years, until the end of 2025.
Additionally, Mercedes is also partnered with Riot Games as its global mobility partner. The collaboration introduced18-karat, white-gold championship rings to the players of Edward Gaming, the winners of the World Championship 2021 (Worlds).
