FaZe Clan benches Poach after just three weeks, brings back flyuh

No end to the NA roster changes.

FaZe Clan Valorant is making a roster change just one week into theVCT NA Stage 2 Challengers Main Event. Jake “poach” Brumleve is being moved to the inactive roster, and the organization is bringing back Xavier “flyuh” Carlson.

Flyuhlast played for FaZein March during the BoomTV Proving Grounds tournament, before both he and Andrew “ShoT_UP” Orlowski were replaced by Rise duo Phat “supamen” Le and Kevin “POISED” Ngo.

Poach’s benching comes just three weeks after FaZe unveiled itsnew Valorant rosterfor VCT NA Stage 2. The 23-year-old had served as the secondary in-game leader on FaZe, helping them qualify in four straight series in the firstStage 2 open qualifier.

He is now a restricted free agent and hasexpressed the desireto represent another team as an in-game leader in the initiator or controller role.

Flyuh has spent the past couple of months competing with SoaR and free agent team Nearest Airport. His move back onto FaZe’s starting lineup comes just ahead of the team’s match against Luminosity on May 21.

Both Poach and flyuh areSovamains, so FaZe will not have to make big role adjustments to accommodate the returning player.

FaZe recentlybootcamped in Plano, Texasfor the Stage 2 open qualifiers, and flyuh will likely be rejoining the team there. In a recent Tweet, the player confirmed that he had just landed in Texas.

While OpTic Gaming may have been FaZe’s toughest matchup in Group B on paper, their next opponent is no slouch either. Luminosity is looking dangerous at the moment, especially after a Week 1 win againstSentinels.
