FaZe Clan says they’ll release Tfue’s contract
The truth is about to come out.
It looks like FaZe Clan will be releasing the contract of superstarFortnitestreamer, Turner “Tfue” Tenney, according to a tweet from FaZe Clan part owner, Richard “Banks” Bengston.
By the way we ARE indeed releasing the contract. Just got off the phone with the hirer ups and we’re preparing it for you guys now. I have nothing to hide and everything I’ve said throughout all of this is the truth. We tried for a straight year to come to a new agreement.
Banks also claims that FaZe has been trying to reach an amicable solution with Tfue for “a straight year” and offered him a US$1 million deal just to represent FaZe, with none of his earnings going to the clan.
Turner, we offered you $1 MILLION per year, with 0% splits across the board. The only deliverable on your side was to represent FaZe Clan. To act like we didn’t try to fix your situation multiple times is manipulative.@TTfueLike I said for us this was never about money.
To recap, this all startedon May 21, when Tfue filed ascathing lawsuitagainst FaZe Clan, accusing them of taking advantage of him by restricting his business opportunities and taking 80% of his earnings.
Banks, who helped recruit Tfue in the first place, took to Twitter to dispute the claims.
At the end of the day this is all about money. More and more and more money. Clearly Tfue felt he deserved millions of dollars in salary in the addition to all the millions he earns on his platforms. He was unhappy and this was his attempt at getting out of the contract.
In response, Tfue posted his own two-minute video asking for the contract to be released(warning: strong language).
Updated May 23 at 3.15 p.m.:Updated to clarify that FaZe Clan is releasing Tifu’s contract for the public to view.
