FaZe Clan unveils its new Valorant roster for VCT NA Stage 2

FaZe Clanhasrevealedits new Valorant roster for VCT NA Stage 2, featuring former Rise players Phat “supamen” Le and Kevin “POISED” Ngo.
The team competed together in April’s Knights Monthly tournament, where they made it to the semifinals before losing to therebuilt TSM roster.
The Rise duo replaces Andrew “ShoT_UP” Orlowski and Xavier“flyuh“Carlson, both of whom are departing the team. The former has already found a new home with the overhauledNew York Fury roster, while flyuh is currently trialing with SoaR as their new in-game leader.

FaZe Clan’s Valorant roster has undergone numerous changes over the past year. Despite early flashes of brilliance that saw them findbrief successwith their“smeaging” strategy, the original squad of former Overwatch pros eventually failed to find their footing in Tier 1 Valorant.
Andrej “babybay” Francisty is the only member of the squad remaining from its first iteration. The North American organization added ex-100 Thieves player Quan“dicey“Tran in January, alongside ShoT_UP, flyuh, andChristopher“LarryBanks“Doyi.
After failing to make it through the open qualifiers during VCT NA Stage 1, the organization began reevaluating its roster once again.
In-game leaderJake “Poach” Brumlevejoins from Built By Gamers. In March, he helped lead the team to a successful first-place finish at BoomTV Proving Grounds, beating the oldGen.Groster in the grand final.

The team has made new additions to its coaching staff as well. Rise’s Addison “zecK” Gorzeck has joined as assistant coach, while Michael “Mas” Smith comes onboard from Teal Seam. Joshua“JDM“Marzano is head coach.
The new FaZe Clan roster will debut during the firstVCT NA Stage 2open qualifier on April 29.
