During the first game, Fnatic felt confident with their hero composition and team play to let Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon pickup a 40-minute Divine Rapier despite not having Aegis of the Immortal. This surprised Team Secret and forced them to retreat and obtain their own Divine Rapier on Michal “Nisha” Jankowski’s Morphling.

A while later, Nisha was caught trying to secure the bottom Outpost where he was locked down and eliminated by Fnatic. They quickly picked up his dropped Divine Rapier and gave it to 23savage, who had nearly 900 base damage on his Gyrocopter.

With two Divine Rapiers on Gyrocopter, his Side Gunner Aghanim’s Scepter ability shredded anything that came close to him. Meanwhile, both Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong’s Io and Djardel “DJ” Mampusti’s Winter Wyvern kept their hard carry alive while they sieged the Radiant base.

Fnatic finished the game with 23savage and Jabz dealing massive amounts of splash damage with their Flak Cannon and Io’s level 25 talent ability, which lets it attack Tethered ally’s targets.

In the end, the series was won by Secret, who took the next two games, but it was a hard-fought one with plenty of crazy moments.
