Former MPL PH ‘Kingslayer’ Iy4knu joins a Mongolian Mobile Legends team

AfterKairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol,Allen “Baloyskie” Baloy, andGerald “Dlar” Trincheratook their talents overseas, another veteran MPL PH player will be playing for aMobile Legends: Bang Bangsquad outside his home region.
Positive Gaming, a Mongolian Mobile Legends: Bang Bang team, acquired former RSG PH veteranJoshwell Christian “Iy4knu” Manaog, the organization announced on theirFacebook pageon Wednesday, August 10.
This comes after RSG PH announced that the 18-year-old player was not part of the active roster for MPL PH Season 10 a month ago. He was then placed on the transfer list, along with Earvin John “Heath” Esperanza.
Iy4knu is the first MPL PH player to join a Mongolian team.
Iy4knu’s achievements in MPL PH
Iy4knu first played in Season 4 for Dream High Gaming, which was later acquired by ONIC Philippines.
He played alongside some of MPL PH’s most iconic players such asJohnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna, Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario, Dlar, Baloyskie, and John Michael “Zico” Dizon.
After Season 4, the team represented the country, along with Sunsparks, at theM1 World Championshipwhere they finished in 9-12th place. After three seasons, ONIC PH released Iy4knu. He was immediately acquired byRSG PHduring their Season 8 debut.
After finishing 5th-6th place in Season 8, Iy4knu announced that he will be taking a break in Season 9. RSG PH went on to winMPL PH Season 9andMSC 2022.
According to the team’s official Facebook page, the Mongolian squad is currently in a bootcamp in the Philippines. The team has also yet to reveal its full roster but promises that “big things will happen” in the future.
There is currently no official professional leagues hosted by Moonton in Mongolia.
