Fortnite announces PS4-exclusive Celebration Cup with US$1M in prize money
Exclusive in-game rewards for the top 50% of players will also be given away.
Fortnite: Battle Royale has announced the Fortnite Celebration Cup, a new competition exclusive to PlayStation 4 (PS4) players, which will give away in-game rewards and US$1 million in prize money.
The Celebration Cup will have two days of competition on February 15 and 16, with the top-performing players on each regional leaderboard in Day 1 earning in-game rewards.
The top 50% of players in each region will get the “Take Cover” spray, the top 25% will receive the “Wild Accent” Pickaxe, and the top 5% will earn the exclusive “Tango” outfit.
Over 4,000 players from all over the world will then be eligible to win a cut of the US$1 million prize pool in Day 2 of the Celebration Cup.

The exact timing for the Fortnite Celebration Cup for each region can be found on the “Compete” tab and the competition’sofficial rules.
Players looking to join the competition must make sure that their Fortnite account is at level 15 and that they have 2-Factor Authentication enabled on their Epic account.
