Fortnite v8.10 update adds new ‘Baller’ vehicle, Xbox One-PS4 Crossplay
Jurassic World’s Gyrosphere makes an appearance in the game.
The latest update to Fortnite: Battle Royale, v8.10, adds a new hamster wheel-like ‘Baller’ vehicle, updated vending machines, and crossplay matchmaking for Xbox One and PS4 players, among a slew of other additions.

The new Baller vehicle is a single seat, hamster wheel-like contraption that gives players unmatched mobility with its Grappler and Boost functionality to climb up cliffs or swing through trees. While a player is protected from damage while inside the Baller, the vehicle itself is vulnerable to enemy fire and has 300 health.
The Baller can be found at Expedition Outposts and around pirate camp loot stashes.
The game’s vending machines haveaalso been updated, removing their material costs and making them dispense loot free of charge, but it will only provide one item or weapon before it disappears.
Common and Uncommon Vending Machines have also been removed, and the Mounted Turret can no longer be acquired from a Legendary Vending Machine.
The update also adds a new limited time mode called, Getaway! In this new mode, players will have to find a Jewel and whisk it away to a getaway van before everyone else to win the match.
