Fortnite World Cup: All the players who have qualified
These players will be fighting in the ultimate battle royale for a slice of US$30 million.
The highly-anticipated Fortnite World Cup Finals in New York City is almost upon us.
On the weekend of July 26 to 28, the bestFortnite: Battle Royaleplayers in the world will duke it out across the Solo and Duo portions of the game’s marquee esports event for the lion’s share of the US$30 million prize pool.
Read on for the list of qualified players, separated according to which week of the qualifiers they punched their ticket to the finals:
Week 9 (Solo)
Week 10 (Duo)
Some of the notable names on the list include popular Fortnite streamer Turner “Tfue” Tenney,who qualified on Week 3, and the duo of Damion “XXiF” Cook and Ronald “Ronaldo” Mach, whostill qualified for the World Cup Finals despite being banned for cheating during the qualifiers.
You may have also noticed that some players were able to qualify to both the Solo and Duo competitions, a testament to their skill in the game.
These include the likes of 100 Thieves’ Davis ‘Ceice’ McClellan and Arkhram; Faze Clan’s Kyle ‘Mongraal’ Jackson, Danny ‘Dubs’ Walsh, Trevor ‘Funk’ Siegler, and Megga; Gambit Esports’ Mark ‘Letw1k3’ Danilov and Yan ‘fwexY’ Kaur; NRG’s Benjy ‘BenjyFishy’ Fish, Martin ‘MrSavage’ Andersen, and Williams ‘Zayt’ Aubin; as well as Nicollas ‘Nicks’ Polonio de Oliveira, Klaus ‘Stompy’ Konstanzer, Clément ‘Skite’ Danglot, Cody ‘Clix’ Conrod, Duong ‘Kinstaar’ Huynh, Theo ‘Crue’ Ferrer, and EpikWhale.
