With the removal of the Kyu ranks, Tekken 8 ranks are fewer compared to Tekken 7.
But unlike the previous iteration, the progression in the current installment is more linear. Hence, it’s easier to recover your rank right after a demotion.
It is also not possible to be demoted prior to reaching Warrior, as you do not lose points below the yellow ranks.
