Gambit Esports establishes its Apex Legends roster
The former Fire Beavers squad has found a new home.
Russian esports organization Gambit Esports has entered the professionalApex Legendsscene with the acquisition of a new team.
Gambit’s roster for Respawn’sbattle royalegame Apex Legends willconsitof players Danila “Sunset” Soloviov, Per ”siigN” Stian Venås, Tishchenko “Artyco” Artur, and coach Dmitry “Slimer” Shaposhnikov. All four were past members of Belarus-based squad Fire Beavers.
Before signing for Gambit Esports, the Fire Beavers squad had already bagged championship titles. This includedfirstplace on the FACEIT Pro Series, beatingT1,Team SoloMid, andAlliance.

Fans will be seeing more of this fresh roster at theApex Legends Preseason Invitational, the first international tournament under EA and Respawn Entertainment.
The three-day offline event will beheld at Krakow in Poland from September 13-15. About 50 teams will be competing for a USD$500, 000 prize pool, with the tournament playing out in a double-elimination format similar to that of Dota 2’sThe International Main Event.
