Gen.G midlaner Bdd donates 5M Korean won to COVID-19 victims

Bdd said that the donation is a way for him to meaningfully celebrate his 21st birthday.

South Korean League of Legends professional player, Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong, has announced that he is donating 5 million Korean won (US$4, 100), to victims of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

Bdd explained that the donation is a meaningful way for him to celebrate his 21st birthday, which is on March 1, as well as to celebrate the fourth anniversary of his debut in the professional LoL scene.

“Although I’m saddened by the fact that I won’t be able to hear the fans sing me the birthday song, I’ll continue to be a player that the fans will be proud of. Please stay safe and thank you for all the support,” said Bdd in atranslated statementby Inven Global.

The amount will definitely benefit his fellow Koreans, who are now experiencing a Red alert threat level with about1,600 reported cases.
