Google’s cloud gaming service Stadia launches on November 19
The Stadia will allow users to play on TVs, laptops, and even their phones.
Google’s cloud-gaming service is finally coming.
Rick Osterloh, senior vice president of Google, made the announcement during itsMade By Googleevent a few days ago.
Osterloh also mentioned that Stadia will allow users to play on TVs, laptops, and Pixel phones. As for its accompanying controller, it will connect to the Stadia servers through Wi-Fi for lightning-fast responses.
The Stadia service itself is quite simple. Just like any streaming service, it allows gamers to purchase and instantly play a game with no downloads. You can even expect triple-A titles such as Red Dead Redemption 2 and Borderlands 3 to be available during its November launch.
If you’re looking for a quick gaming fix without the hassle of a physical console, the Stadia may be the right thing for you. Although there is no official price as of now, the Google Stadia may cost around US$130 on release.
