Guilty Gear Strive has been delayed till early 2021
Guilty Gear Strive fans will have to wait a bit longer.
Guilty Gear Strive developers, Arc System Works, has announced that the game will be delayed till early 2021.
The game was initially set to be released in late 2020, but according to statements made by the game’s producer, Takeshi Yamanaka, the team has run into some struggles.
He profoundly thanked fans of the franchise for their continued support; however “due to the spread of COVID-19, every aspect of [their] development schedule has faced delays.”
The company has decided to use the time to further improve the quality of the game, taking note of feedback they received from aclosed beta test last April 19.

Arc System Works has had a tough year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The company was forced tocancel its entire Arc World Tour 2020 last March, which included events for BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle and Grandblue Fantasy: Versus.
Guilty Gear Strive is now scheduled for an early 2021 release and will be available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
