It will be titled Harvest Moon: One World and the game will feature fresh characters in a new setting, seemingly one where farm crops don’t exist.

“Can you imagine a world without tomatoes, strawberries, or even cabbage? That’s the situation players will find themselves in in the latest entry in the Harvest Moon series. Only an old book gives hints of what once was…”according to the developers.

Players will get to explore not just their own towns, but the whole world as well. Additionally, Harvest Moon: One World will run in a new game engine paired with new graphics.

Natsume’s president and CEO Hiro Maekawa promises One World to be fun for both long-time fans and new players of the Harvest Moon franchise.

“Harvest Moon: One World features a brand-new way of exploring Harvest Moon that seasoned players and new generations will both enjoy,” said Maekawa.
