Popular Dota 2 personalities Jake “SirActionSlacks” Kanner, Jorien “Sheever” van der Heijden, and Owen “ODPixel” Davies have pooled together their vast knowledge of Dota 2’s lore to prepare fans for the upcoming Dota: Dragon’s Blood anime on Netflix.
SirActionSlacks explains how the story of Dota 2 began. It all started when a thought entered the primordial mind, which eventually led to an argument so fierce it split the mind into two distinct cells: the Radiant and the Dire.
Sheever then describes the mystical world of Dota 2, where different Gods, demons, wizards, humans, and different types of creatures inhabited the central focal point of the plains of existence, which have multiple parallel universes and timelines.
Finally, ODPixel shared what the Dragon’s Blood anime is all about. Dota 2 has been around for over a decade, and the upcoming Netflix anime will explain how the war between the Radiant and Dire began.
