Currently, there are three characters you can hire on the map: Centurion, Aramus, and Ruckus.

Unfortunately, this option was only available for a limited time at the beginning of the season. Epic Games has since disabled it. If re-enabled, you could recruit defeated henchmen by interacting with them after eliminating them.
