How to watch the biggest SFV tournament of the year at the Japan Esports Grand Prix
This is the biggest offline SFV tournament of the year.
This weekend, the Japan Esports Union (JeSU) will hold the Japan Esports Grand Prix, a multi-game tournament with 5 million yen and the chance to represent Japan in international esports tournaments on the line.
The four-day Grand Prix will take place in Tokyo from September 24 – 27, with each day of competition showcasing a different game.

The Street Fighter V tournament will be the highlight of the competition with a star-studded list of competitors, including 2019 EVO champion, Masato “Bonchan” Takahashi, 2018 Capcom Cup champion, Tsunehiro “gachikun” Kanamori, and FGC legends, Daigo “The Beast” Umehara, and Hajime “Tokido” Taniguchi.
The qualifying round will take place on Friday, September 25 from 3 to 7 p.m. (GMT+8), with the finals scheduled for Sunday, September 27 from 5 to 8 p.m. (GMT+8).
