ECHO’s revamped roster for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines Season 9 (MPL PH Season 9)

ECHO has announced that it is once again opening its doors to aspiring pro players through an open tryout, marking the second time the club has held an open recruitment exercise. It similarly cast its net across the wider player base afterMPL PH Season 8.

The announcement was posted on its officialFacebook page, but it did not reveal any specific requirements to be part of the team.

“It’s that time again. Missed our tryout pool before? Maybe this is your chance to be a part of the MLBB professional scene,” the post read.

Interested players canregister via the link providedin the post. They must then answer a series of questions, such as the highest rank they’ve achieved, whether they have tournament experience, their in-game name, and Facebook fan page link.

This comes after the team recently announced the departure of second-stringers Rion “Rk3” Kudo, Jaymark Aaron “Hadess” Lazaro, and Aaron “Aaronqt” Lim.

ECHO had a strong start in MPL PH Season 9, but struggled in the play-ins stage. Despite the blockbuster acquisition of M2 World Championship MVP KarlTzy, former Nexplay EVOS star Yawi, and former TNC star Frediemar “3MarTzy” Serafico, the blue and white squad was upset and eliminated early by Smart Omega 0-3 in theplay-ins stageofSeason 9.

With the open tryouts, the team looks to be gearing up for a roster revamp as it prepares for the next season.
