IG Rookie survives death with a perfectly-timed Stopwatch
You could say he was….right on time.
Invictus Gaming’s (IG) mid-laner Song “Rookie” Eui-jin barely escaped from the hands of death during a clash inRift RivalsAsia 2019.
The mid-laner, playing as Azir, was being harassed by Kingzone DragonX (KZ) Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu’s Ezreal and almost died just as KZ Moon “Cuzz” Woo-chan’s Karthus was about to drop his ultimate Requiem. However, Rookie was able to survive by activating the Stopwatch item right on time.
Unfortunately for IG, that wasn’t enough as the game eventually went in favor of KZ.
