Jungle Qiyana is absolutely meta now after League of Legends patch 11.19 buffs

The queen rules on a new turf.

After many adjustments in the last patch, including asignificant mechanical change to her E+Q combo, Riot Games still isn’t done with Qiyana.

In the second installation of Worlds 2021 patches, League of Legends patch 11.19 partially reverts the mechanical tweak, and buffs her even more in the jungle.

Q – Edge of Ixtal

While she’s not getting back the original undodgeable of E+Q buffer combo, it’s at least not functioning like patch 11.18’s near unplayable nerf.

According to the game developers, “that version of the combo generously treated every enemy dash as anattempt to dodge Qiyana’s combo“, including her own knock up from her Supreme Display of Talent ultimate, which clearly wasn’t always the case.

True Damage Qiyana Prestige Edition skin

In League of Legends patch 11.19, her E+Q combo is guaranteed only at the end of Audacity (E), within 150 attack range.

The second biggest change is how hard Riot is pushing for her to be played in the jungle. In the last patch, Edge of Ixtal’s (Q) bonus damage to monsters was increased by 25%. This patch, it’s been upped even more to 50%, which definitely increases her clear speed, for Edge of Ixtal is an AoE spell.

Beifeng from China, a high ELO solo queue player on the Korean and Chinese sever, is regarded as the best Qiyana mains in the world, and has already exploited her in the jungle last patch.

Is this truly the end of Qiyana mid? All we can expect right now is to see jungle Qiyana played at Worlds 2021, especially since fast clear junglers like Graves and Xin Zhao have already been nerfed a few patches ago.
