LCS suspended for the rest of the Spring Split

The LCS may move to online matches.

Just days after announcing that the LCS will continuewithout a live studio audience, Riot has updated its decision, and has now suspended the LCS entirely.

LCS commissioner, Chris Greeley, added that the 2020 LCS Spring Finals will now happen at the LCS home studio in Los Angeles instead of the planned venue in Northern Texas.

Greeley also informed fans and viewers that the league is doing its best to ensure the future of the season, which may include online games, similar to what China is doing with theLPL.

FYI – We are looking to shift our play to remote games (i.e. teams not on site) and get the LCS back as soon as possible. With the move of finals to the LCS Arena, our schedule is now very flexible to finish Spring Split.#LCS
