Week 7 results
Match of the week: Fnatic vs G2 Esports
Deemed by fans as the battle between the old kings and the new kings, the last match of the week between Fnatic (FNC) and G2 Esports (G2) kept fans on the edge of their seats.
It was a very close game between FNC and G2. While the game started slowly, it picked up after G2’s Rasmus “Caps” Winther’s Ezreal took First Blood against Fnatic’s Gabriël “Bwipo” Rau’s Sett at around the ten-minute mark.
Despite the early game handicap, Fnatic claimed the mid-game pushing power and took down all of G2’s outer turrets by the 22-minute mark.
The real game-changing moment of the best-of-one series saw G2’s Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski’s Olaf steal Baron Nashor. With the Baron buff on their side, G2 was able to push for victory and end the game within 34 minutes.
Player of the week: Rasmus “Caps” Winther
Jankos may have taken the spotlight with his Baron steal, but G2’s Caps was the MVP for the rest of the match.
Caps delivered insane play after insane play on Ezreal, and went perfect with a 6/0/4 KDA. His 358 creep score also led the game.
MAD Lions (8-6)
SK Gaming (2-12)
