Riot Games has officially revealed LoL Worlds 2022 dates and the tournament’s venues. This year’s League of Legends World Championship will take a tour around North America, with 24 participating teams traveling from Mexico to California.
Worlds 2022 will kick off on September 29 and will conclude on November 5.

Since the CIS region (League of Legends Continental League) will not be able to send a representative to Worlds 2022, Riot Games will grant the European league (LEC) a fourth slot.
LEC “has had the best performance during international events over the past two years, but does not already have four team berths” according to anofficial statement by LoL Esports.
Worlds 2021 took place in Reykjavik, Iceland from October 5 to November 6, whereLPL representative Edward Gaming won their first Worlds title. The Chinese team bestedWorlds 2020 champions DWG KIAin the finals 3-2.
Each player received 18 karat white gold custom-cut sapphire Championship Ringsco-designed by LoL Esports and Mercedes-Benz.
