MAD Lions just signed what could be the best bot lane duo in LEC 2023

League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC)teamMAD Lionsrecently announced its full player roster for the upcoming competitive season.

The team signed three new players for LEC 2023, which includes formerFnatic player Zdravets “Hylissang” Iliev Galabov. He will replace Norman ”Kaiser” Kaiser as the team’s new support.

Replacingİrfan Berk “Armut” Tükekand William “UNF0RGIVEN” Nieminen are Kim “Chasy” Dong-hyeon andMatyáš “Carzzy” Orság.

Chasy, Carzzy, and Hylissang join MAD Lions for LEC 2023 season

The trio will play withJavier “Elyoya” Prades BatallaandYasin “Nisqy” Dinçerfor theupcoming LEC Winter Split this January.

Chasy will be making his debut in the LEC. He was previously competing withNorthern League of Legends Championship (NLC)team, X7 Esports. He wasDWG KIA’ssubstitute top laner in theLeague of Legends Champions Korea (LCK)in 2021.

MAD Lions 2023 LEC player roster

Teaming up with Hyli in the bot lane is Carzzy, one of the first members of the MAD Lions roster after it rebranded from Splyce in 2019. He left for Team Vitality for the 2022 season.

With the killer AD carry and one of the best supports in the region together in one team, fans are looking forward to MAD’s performance next season.

“Carzzy has always been a guy (who) I liked playing against, and I imagined myself playing alongside him as well,”Hylissang said in an interview with Jaxon. “I feel like he is the type of player that I would enjoy playing with, and I believe it will be quite fun indeed — playing together in the bottom lane.”
