MPL ID Season 8 is divided into two phases, the regular season and the playoffs. The regular season will be played in a single round-robin format for eight weeks.

The top six teams of the season will qualify for the playoffs.

The playoffs will run on a double elimination bracket, except for the grand final which will be a best-of-seven series.
