MPL MENA is the newest region to get an M5 Wildcard slot

The Middle East and North Africa region might witness the participation of two teams in the highly anticipatedM5 World Championship.

Moonton Games officially announced that the first runner-up of theMobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Middle East and North Africa(MPL MENA) will be vying for a spot in the upcoming M5 Wildcard event.

This development increases the count of participating regions in the league to seven, with an additional region yet to be disclosed.

Malaysiawill host the first-ever M5 Wildcard event in November, happening just a month before the M5 World Championship in the Philippines.

During the Wildcard, two teams will secure their spots in the global championship. This time, we’ll see new regions like South Asia and Mongolia competing for the first time for these prized slots.

Middle East and North Africa is one of the newest regions to have an MPL league, having just formed in 2021.

The league is currently still in the regular season until October 7. The winner of the tournament will secure a direct invite to the M5 World Championship.
