With this MPL iteration adopting a franchise-based league for the first time,new teams and up-and-coming players have entered the sceneto provide a more competitive atmosphere.

MPL PH Season 8 format

MPL PH Season 8 will have eight teams competing in the tournament. The regular season will start from August 27 to October 10.

The top six teams after the regular season will proceed to the playoffs, which will be played in best-of-five matches. The grand final will be a best-of-seven.
