NBA 2K League partners with YouTube to stream all games this season

The league games will still also be streamed on Twitch, in case you’re wondering.

The NBA is working with video streaming platform YouTube to try to dunk in more viewers.

The sports associationhas agreed to livestream all of its NBA 2K League’s second seasonand distribute the highlights on the officialNBA 2K League YouTube Channel.

While the league already has a multi-year partnership deal with Twitch that covers live-streaming of all games including last year’s inaugural season, partnering with YouTube will help the league increase its reach to even more prospective fans, while YouTube benefits by having yet more esports content on its platform.

With a 230 game regular-season tournament which includes Playoff and Finals games put together, NBA 2K league looks to take the next step in their esports venture.

The current season started on April 2, with 21 teams competing for a prize pool of US$120,000 with the finals set to take place on August 3. Be sure to also check outour draft coveragefor more info.
