NBA star Devin Booker will compete in the EXP Pro-Am Apex Legends tournament

Booker will be taking his shooting skills from the hard court to the Apex Arena.

Since the NBA is currently in its offseason, up-and-coming NBA star Devin Booker has decided to take his sweet-shooting skills and competitive fire to an entirely different arena.

The Phoenix Suns shooting guard is joining the fray in the first ever ESPN EXP Pro-Am Apex Legends tournament.

Kicking off on July 11, the exhibition tournament will feature Apex Legends pro players teaming up with an impressive lineup of athletes and celebrities.

Three-player squads will compete for a US$25,000 prize purse that will be donated to the V Foundation for Cancer Research.

Joining Booker in the EXP Pro-Am are fellow NBA players Kenneth Faried (Houston Rockets), Darius Miles (retired), and Quentin Richardson (retired).

Other pro athletes participating in the exhibition tilt include the WNBA’s Breanna Stewart (Seattle Storm), the NFL’s Marcus Williams (New Orleans Saints), UFC Strawweight Tatiana Suarez, and the WWE’s Xavier Woods.

Headlining the list of Apex Legends pros are Brenden “Casper” Marino, Coby “Dizzy” Meadows, Jason “tennp0” Wang, Mark “Dropped” Thees, and Jordan “Huskers” Thomas.

Streamers Guy “DrDisRespect” Beahm, Janet “xChocoBars” Rose, and Nicholas “Nick Eh 30” Amyoony are also onboard.

The EXP Pro-Am will be streamed live on Twitch via theESPN EsportsandApex Legendschannels, as well as onESPN Esports’ YouTubechannel.
