ONE Esports announces the Dota 2 Indonesia Invitational
12 of the world’s best teams will compete for a prize pool of US$500,000.
ONE Esports has announced theONE Esports Dota 2 Indonesia Invitational, in partnership with PGL, which will take place in Jakarta from November 23 to 29.
“The success of the ONE Esports Dota 2 Singapore World Pro Invitational is only the beginning and we want to continue our investment in the Dota 2 ecosystem. I’m excited to announce another Invitational in Indonesia in November 2020 after the Singapore Major in June. As always, we will bring together the world’s best pro teams to compete, and fans can look forward to exciting matches, meet-and-greet sessions, cosplays, and the best experiences at our event,” said Carlos Alimurung, CEO of ONE Esports.
The ONE Esports Dota 2 Singapore World Pro Invitationals, which took place last 17-19 December, saw China’sVici Gamingemerge as the overall winner.
The event drew 88 million global views, with over 464,000 peak concurrent views. A total of 24 countries were represented. Teams who participated in the tournament included Alliance, Evil Geniuses, Gambit Esports, J.Storm, PSG.LGD, Natus Vincere, Team Aster, Team Liquid, Team Secret, TNC Predator, Vici Gaming, and Virtus.pro.
