Overwatch League moves postponed China games to Seoul

OWL will soon be back on track.

Back in January, the Overwatch League (OWL) announced thecancellation of China homestand matchesas a precautionary measure against the health risks posed by the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) outbreak.

Today, the League gave its fans some great news, announcing that the canceled matches will now be played in Seoul, South Korea.

Specific match dates and times have yet to be announced, but fans can already mark their calendars for Weeks 5-7. Most of the makeup matches will be played in Weeks 6-7 at a studio in Seoul, with a few others possibly being squeezed into the Seoul Dynasty homestand schedule that happens on Week 5.

The League has also made it clear that the schedule of makeup matches will not disrupt the homestand schedules in Washington on Week 5, Florida on Week 6, and Atlanta on Week 7.
