Paper Rex replaces Shiba with Jinggg before VCT APAC Last Chance Qualifier
Jinggg will debut with Paper Rex on October 11.
Singaporean Esports organization Paper Rex has benched Zhang Teng “Shiba” Toh, and signed Wang “Jinggg” Jing Jie to their main Valorant roster.
The team made the change after their run at VCT Stage 3 Masters Berlin where they were eliminated in the group stage.

Shiba signed with the squad last May and helped the team qualify for VCT Stage 3 Masters Berlin after finishing second during the VCT SEA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs.
What do the new roster changes mean for Paper Rex?
Jingggwas a duelist-main with Team SMG in the Southeast Asian region during VCT Stage 3 up until he decided to join Paper Rex.
He will be filling in the initiator (Sova main) role that shiba previously played for the squad.
The team is looking to add more firepower to the roster to compete against the best teams in Southeast Asia.Shibahad a decent performance at Masters Berlin tournament, but the Singaporean player struggled in their elimination match against SuperMassive Blaze.
Paper Rex will be competing in the upcomingVCT APAC Last Chance Qualifier. The winner will advance to theValorant Champions 2021tournament at the end of the year.
