Razer converts manufacturing lines to produce surgical masks
Razer intends to donate up to one million masks.
Razer CEO, Tan Min-Liang, has announced that Razer will be converting some of its manufacturing lines to produce surgical masks that the company will be giving away to countries that need them around the world.
Up to one million masks will be made by Razer to help out with the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
The first country to receive the mask will be Singapore, where Razer’s SEA headquarters are located.
Razer will be getting in touch with different health authorities to help distribute the masks globally.
“The rest of our Razer global/regional offices will also be reaching out to their respective governments/health authorities to see how we can prioritize our support and donations of surgical masks in the various countries and regions where we have a presence,” said Tan in aTwitter thread.
We intend to donate up to 1M masks to the health authorities of different countries globally. For starters, we’ve been in touch with the authorities in Singapore (where the@RazerSEA HQ is based) to donate some of the initial shipments to assist their fight against COVID-19.
Simple, regular surgical masks will be produced for now, but Tan is also considering putting the iconic Razer logo on them.
