Retirement isn’t stopping Ceb from helping OG at TI11

Sébastien “Ceb” Debs, Dota 2’s most active retired player, is back!
The two-time TI champion stepped away from competitive Dota 2 in November last year. But he always finds a way to return to OG and help them in their pursuit to lift anotherAegis of Champions.
After being spotted at the team’sThe International 2022boot camp in Malaysia, OG explained that Ceb isn’t replacing anyone this time around.
Ceb is back with OG for TI11 as the team’s second coach
Mikhail “Misha” Agatov has been plagued with visa issues this year. The position 5 support player has missed out on the team’s last four international LAN events because of this.
To avoid this problem,OG began Misha’s visa applicationprocess to Singapore earlier while the team was competing atESL One Genting. This allowed the Russian player to finally travel with the team as they prepared for The International 2022.
It wasn’t all bad when Ceb came in as a last-second stand-in. In the previous two Majors where he played the position 5 support, instead of his usual offlane role,OG was able to win its fifth Dota 2 Majorby defeating TSM 3-1 in the grand final ofESL One Stockholm.
The 30-year-old has also filled in for the Western European team at thePGL Arlington Majorwhere they finished fourth behind Team Spirit, PSG.LGD, and Team Aster.
However, OG won’t be relying on Ceb’s play at The International 2022. Instead, he will be guiding the young squad as theteam’s secondary coach.
Aside from his talent as a player, Ceb is also known for his speeches that motivate and inspire his teammates. This was seen in the two True Sight documentaries after OG won consecutive TI championships.
